AIRx Replacement Bulb for Bryant/Carrier UVLXXRPL1020 Ultraviolet Lamp

This replacement lamp fits multiple Bryant/Carrier/Totaline UV systems. This lamp does not include the ballast (bulb only). Overall unit is approximately 21". Fits UVLBB1LP1020, UVLCC1LP1020 / UVBB1LP1020A, UVCC1LP1020A Evolution & Infinity UV systems From Bryant and Carrier. Dual lamp UVLCC2LP1020 / UVLBB2LP1020 models will need two bulbs. The UV light kills bacteria and mold spores on the HVAC system cooling coil.

NOTE: Please be sure you are able to remove the security screws from the ballast. Look for a Sentry Supply 650-7901 One Way Screw Remover for Size 6-8 Screws if your ballast has one way security screws
Be sure to disconnect power before changing bulb

This is a 5-star review hoping the replacement lamp will last for the one-year life expectancy. I bought two although I only needed one so I have a spare to replace when the time comes and don't have to wait for a shipment. The price was reasonable and I was pleasantly surprised both lamps arrived well packaged and unscathed. YouTube had an excellent video showing how one can easily replace the lamp without hiring an AC guy. The AC company originally hardwired the lamp cord but I was able to rewire and splice plugs on both cords so the next replacement will be easier. It will be a simple matter of unplugging the lamp and replacing the lamp. The lamp was an exact replacement and it's now working in the system. Let's hope it will have the impact it is designed to do.

Product works great to replace just the bulbs. You will be required to replace the security screws on the cover so you can replace the bulb. I used a Dremel tool with small cutting disk to make a slot in the security screw and removed using regular flat blade screwdriver. Also remove the o-ring from original bulb to place on the new one. Very quick and easy once the screws have been replaced. Two #6 x 3/8 sheet metal screws for each light assembly is all you need. Now I can change just the bulb and save much $$$. I purchased these tube lamps for replacements when I need them. My original two tubes that came with my Carrier HVAC system are still functioning. However, I am told by the Carrier service man that your prices are less than half of what Carrier charges for the identical item.

Great product for your money. It took me about 25 minutes to replace the old UV lamps with the new ones. Fit was great as advertised. I have already ordered another set for the next replacement. Due to they need to be replaced every year. The lamps came in tubes secured so they wont break.
