Replacement Refrigerator Filters for MIWF6200
Product Description
The MIWF6200 filter is a newcomer to the US market and fits in refrigerators from Midea, Sharp, Thor, Zline and others. This aftermarket compatible replacement for MIWF6200 creates better tasting water for drinking and making beverages as well as clean, clearer, healthy ice.
Installation
1. Remove the Old Filter
Locate the filter: Find the filter housing, which is usually located in the upper right or left corner of your refrigerator's interior.
Twist the filter: Turn the old MIWF6200 filter counter-clockwise (to the left).
Pull it out: Gently pull the old filter straight down or out to remove it.
2. Install the New Filter
Align the tabs: Line up the tabs on the top of the filter with the slots inside the fridge opening.
Twist to lock: Push the filter upward into the opening and turn it clockwise (to the right) until it stops and locks into place.
Close the cover: Close the filter cover.
3. Flush the System
Run the dispenser: Place a large pitcher or cup under the water dispenser.
Flush the line: Run approximately 1 to 2 gallons of water through the new filter. This pushes trapped air and loose carbon dust out of the new lines. The water may look cloudy at first, which is normal.
