It's hard to tell about these filters because there's still quite a bit of dust landing around the house when the furnace is running on unheated, circulating air. I added some filter material to the furnace vents themselves so maybe the combination will help with the house dust issue.

I purchase these as a 12 pack. Lowers the price and I always have some on hand. I have birds in the house so I need to change them at least once a month when the air conditioner is running. Don't want to pay for air condition repairs if the filters clog. They are also shipped quickly.
