I ordered these filters because the ones I could buy local were too restrictive (made heating system whistle). My heater now runs about 75% less than before which will save me money now, but I worry that I should have purchased a Merv 6

I change filters monthly and these are good quality/value for that schedule. During my yearly maintenance the technician said the filters were keeping things clean.

It does the job I need it to do. The white 24"x12"x1" are about 1/8" to small in the filter frame.

These filters are lightweight filters, not the type most people would recommend for high rated air filtration in their A/C. But they are exactly the type I need for my home system, which uses a main 4 to 5" thick, heavy-duty filter, in place at the main intake of the air handler in the attic. In order to extend the life of the heavy-duty air handler filter, I use these Fiberglass 1" filters in the ceiling intake duct in the home's hallway. Plus, they keeps the A/C ductwork a bit cleaner.

I'm amazed at the fact that the box they arrived in didn't have a flat corner or crushed in some other way. They look as good as some that I used to buy at the A/C shops, that I used to put in rental dwellings. Probably will purchase more as needed.

These are nice filters. I do not use the pleated filters they don't have enough air flow. Just change these filters more often. They are getting hard to find in the hardware stores.

Couldn't find these anywhere else, and they're the only filters that work with my furnace. You are a life saver. Please send me your url address so I can archive it. Thank you Mike
