I have been using discount filters for a few years. Always satisfied with their performance, my confidence in them was reinforced recently. We had some home repairs done that resulted in a tremendous amount of dust. When I changed the furnace filter, I noticed a marked difference in the appearance of the filter from previous times. Rather than being slightly dirty and discolored. It was noticeably darker and had obviously filtered out a lot of the dust.
