This filter does the job well. Here are the installation steps: 1. Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator. Have some paper towels ready to pick up water spills from the removed filter. 2. Push the child-lock button on the right side of the refrigerator. That disables the lock for 3 seconds so you can twist and remove the old filter using pliers. 3. Push the child-lock button so you can insert the new filter. 4. Before 3 seconds, insert the new filter and twist it with pliers to lock in it position. 5. Turn on the water supply to the refrigerator. 6. Wipe up the spilled water with paper towels. I suggest that ClearChoice adds this procedure to their instructions.

Very easy to order as they keep a record of what your refrigerator needs. Ours usually last about 11-12 mos. I always buy the three pack..good value …
