Product Description

The EPTWFU01 refrigerator water filter fits in french door and side-by-side refrigerators by Frigidaire and Electrolux produced after 2015. The filter is also known as the Frigidaire PureSource Ultra II Filter and the Electrolux EWF02. The filter installs in the upper right-hand corner of the refrigerator. It inserts with a simple twist.

The EPTWFU01 uses advanced carbon block technology to remove impurities from your water. The specialized activated carbon media in the filter contains millions of tiny pores which capture and hold organic particles and chemicals. The result is clean-tasting and smelling water and ice. A new filter typically lasts up to 6 months.

Installation

EPTWFU01 Installation

Installation Instructions:

  1. Turn off the icemaker power switch
  2. Remove the old filter by rotating it counterclockwise (to the left) 90 degrees to release it
  3. Slide the new filter into the filter housing as far as it will go with the grip end horizontal and push lightly inward on the filter while rotating it clockwise (to the right)
  4. Rotate the filter 90 degrees until it stops and the grip end is vertical
  5. Press and hold the Water Filter reset button on the control panel for three seconds. When the display changes from Red to Green, the status has been reset
  6. After replacing the water filter, flush the new filter by running water through the new filters for 3 minutes, then turn on the icemaker power switch
