Replacement Filter for Aprilaire/Space-Gard 2400 Air Cleaner MERV 10
Air cleaners use a replaceable filter to trap and remove impurities from indoor air. Rated MERV 10, this aftermarket filter traps dirt, dust, pollen, mold and odors. Its deep pleats increase the filter's performance. Accordion-style media expands and snaps securely in the air cleaner's frame. The existing pleat spacers separate the media and keep it sturdy. For maximum indoor air quality, replace the filter once every six months.

We go through one of these about every six to nine months. Very expensive if you buy from the Samsung company. Very reasonable if bought here. Fit is perfect.

This filter replacement does the job effectively and as well as the brand name product, Aprilaire. However, as in the case of the brand name product, it is difficult and a bit tedious to install. However, it is great to get the same functionality for about a third of the price as the named brand.

The replacement Aprilaire/Space-Gard 2400 filters are the same quality as the Aprilaire OEM ones I have been buying and they look, feel and fit the same. I wouldn't be surprised if they are manufactured by the same company that makes the Aprilaire OEM filters. They are less than one half the cost of the OEM filters. This is a no brainer!

When a new refrigerator filter is installed, there may be some sputtering and spitting of water while air is forced out of the filter media. This is normal and will stop after the carbon media becomes saturated with water.
