These filters don't fit the GE Adora brand fridge. They don't go far enough to press the valve all the way down. We get maybe a quarter the water flow we got with out GE Smartwater filter. I would not buy this filter again. Just does not fit or work properly.

When a new refrigerator filter is installed, there may be some sputtering and spitting of water while air is forced out of the filter media. This is normal and will stop after the carbon media becomes saturated with water.
