To reduce respiratory problems and promote efficient HVAC operation, use an air filter. Designed for Honeywell and other brands, this pop-up filter carries a MERV 11 rating. It traps pollen, dust, mold, dirt, pet dander and odors from pets, cooking, smoking or the bathroom. Fiberglass-free, the filter includes no materials that could aggravate respiratory problems. The filter easily installs once every six months. Simply expand it then insert it into the air cleaner for healthy indoor air and HVAC efficiency.
When a new refrigerator filter is installed, there may be some sputtering and spitting of water while air is forced out of the filter media. This is normal and will stop after the carbon media becomes saturated with water.
