I ordered 2 replacement Merv-11 filters for our name brand air handler from DiscountFilters.com because of their good price and guarantee. My filters arrived as they said within just a few days and they are an exact fit. I paid less for two filters than I would have paid for one from the air handler manufacturer and there is no visible difference between the two filters. I will be purchasing more filters in the future from DiscountFilters.

This is a replacement filter for Carrier/Bryant filters and needs to be replaced in 6 months, where the factory originals were good for 1 year. We'll see if they hold up to 6 months and then longer.

Why are the easy things to do around the house that which get overlooked most often? I admit it, I'm guilty of a selective memory. I'll have a spare hour to get something done and never think about the filters in my AC/Heating unit. Well thanks to DiscountFilters.com that won't happen again! Along with the two filters I recently bought for my system, I also got a nifty little Air Filter Gauge that will show me at a glance when to change those filters. You can't go wrong with this thing. For about 13 bucks, I got a little gauge that sticks into the filter where it can be seen easily and that's it. Now, as I walk by the AC/Heater, I can take a quick peek and know with confidence how the filter is doing. We live in Florida with lots of sand and dirt all around outside that inevitably gets inside, winding up in the filters. No more counting back months and having an uneasy feeling that the filter may still have some more time on it or holding it up to the light and trying to estimate how clogged it is. And the best part of all of this: I got the two filters and the gauge for less than local prices for ONE filter! And I was able to go up in filter efficiency because of the lower price. When I made the purchase, I was given a choice to put up a 'Like' about DiscountFilters.com on my Facebook page. I did so, hoping I wouldn't get anyone upset for pitching a business on my page but the responses from my 'Friends' who are homeowners too has been great. Seems they all were having the same troubles with their memories as I was. Not a single complaint, just some thank you's for the info.I didn't mention the shipping, huh? Well, my order came not when I expected it, but three days sooner!Hey, it's only a filter. But it protects a $15,000 new AC/Heating unit. The filters were well packed and I will be ordering again. The height of the filter was off buy 1/32 - 1/16 which required a slight bend in the carboard case to install, otherwise it is perfect.
