Your EnergyGuide Guide

What’s the point in having an ENERGYGUIDE if you can’t translate it? We don’t know either. We make it easy to figure out with this ENERGYGUIDE Guide below:

WHAT IS ENERGY STAR?

The ENERGY STAR website puts it best by saying they’re “the trusted, government-backed symbol for energy efficiency helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy-efficient products and practices.”

By creating this symbol, people are better able to notify whether an appliance or product is energy-efficient without lacking in performance and quality. Isn’t that nice? I’d say so.

WHERE IS MY ENERGYGUIDE LOCATED?

These labels don’t take binoculars to spot out. The ENERGY STAR logo is on every appliance tag or product box that is deemed ENERGY STAR efficient. The labels are usually slapped on the side or back of the appliance or product box. Take a little look-sie and you’ll surely find it.

WHY IS THE ENERGYGUIDE USEFUL?

The ENERGYGUIDE helps consumers compare apples to oranges in the appliance and product world. If you’ve got two apples (or filters) and one is cheaper, the ENERGYGUIDE can help spare you from wasting cash on a clever name and fancy graphic. Instead, you can spend your money on a less costly product will be just as energy-efficient. It helps bring you to an informed decision, and that is really helpful in a world of unlimited options.

Feel better and shop savvy.
