- Grasp the filter to be removed and gently turn it counterclockwise until it separates from the filter head.

- For about five minutes, let water run through the dispenser. This is the equivalency of about four gallons of water. The water at the end of this time should be running steady. Note that a one to two minute lag may occur during the initial use, as the internal water tank needs time to fill.
- Follow the directions in the owner’s manual to reset the water filter change notification.
