Water Filter Installation Instructions

The T1RFWB2 water filter is installed very easily and in only a minute or so. There are two types of installations that vary slightly depending on the location of your refrigerator water filter.

In the Refrigerator

1. Open your refrigerator and locate the water filter in the top rear of the refrigerator compartment.

2. Push the locking tab inward to release the latch.

3. Grasp the filter and turn it counterclockwise about one-quarter turn, until it releases.

4. Pull the old filter straight out.

5. Push a new filter into the chamber; turn it about one-quarter turn clockwise until it clicks in place.

In the Kick Panel

1. Locate your refrigerator filter in the bottom kick panel on the left side of your refrigerator.

2. Locate the recessed tab and pull it forward to unlock the filter.

3. Turn the filter one-quarter turn counterclockwise to release it.

4. Pull the old filter straight out.

5. Press a new filter in the chamber; turn it one-quarter turn clockwise to install it.

No matter the location of your water filter, you need to flush the system by running about two gallons of water through the water dispenser.

Change Your Water Filter Routinely

The T1RFWB2 water filter will seamlessly provide fresh water and ice for your family for approximately six months.
