How To Install Your Filter

The 4396710P is a snap to install. The filter is usually located in the upper right corner of the refrigerator. Once you have found the filter, follow these simple steps to replace your filter.

The filter will have either a push or pull tab release.

If it is a push tab, the tab should be located in the front of the filter housing.

1. Push the tab in to release the hatch and open the housing.
2. Turn the filter counterclockwise until it unlocks.
3. Pull the filter straight out.
4. Reverse the process to replace the filter with ease.

If it is a pull tab, it should be recessed on the front underside of the cover.

1. Pull the tab forward to remove the housing.
2. Twist the filter one quarter turn counterclockwise.
3. Pull the filter straight out.
4. Simply reverse the process to replace the filter.

Once the filter is in place, don’t forget to flush the filter by running two gallons of water through it before using.

Remember to Replace Your Filter

The 4396710P is an excellent water filter, but it won’t last forever. As more and more water passes through the filter over time, the carbon will begin to degrade.
