Changing your Refrigerator Water Filter

Take a look inside and you’ll see where your filter is located. Take a look at the top right hand corner, since that’s where it usually is. Release the old filter by either pushing it or pulling it. Once you’ve taken in out, you can replace your 100810A filter.

Here are the directions to push and release:

1. Find the push tab on the front of the water filter.
2. Release it by turning the filter to the left (counter clockwise) until it comes out.
3. Take the filter out.
4. Install the new filter by reversing the entire process.

If you have problems finding the pull release lever, it might be hidden beneath the front housing. Put your fingers under the housing and try to grab the cover’s catch. Then you can turn it clockwise, pull it out and install the new filter.
