Description

The Bryant/Carrier cartridge type media filter fits Bryant, Carrier, Day-Night and Payne air cleaner cabinets. The efficient media pleats give the filter an enlarged surface area that enables it to trap more particles. With a MERV 8 rating, it removes particles as small as three microns from indoor air. Allergens it traps include dust, mites, mold, dander and pollen. It also removes smoking, cooking, cleaning and bathroom odors. For the best indoor air quality, change the filter at least once every six months. To seal the filter into place, purchase foam strips that are sold separately.

Great service, as always

Ordered a pair of replacement filters to have on hand for the summer. They arrived quicker than expected and were in perfect shape. The only problem I've ever had with filters has been shipping damage (twice) and both times the damaged filters were picked up and new ones delivered almost immediately. No hassle, no problems.

Excellent Customer Service

Comments:

Long time customer, ordered two replacement filters. Delivered on time but box looked a little strange. When opened discovered both filters were crushed and damaged beyond use. Emailed customer service. Got a reply they had already ordered replacements and to put the damaged filters outside my door the next day. Damaged filters were gone that afternoon, the replacements arrived the next day. You can not ask for better, more responsive customer service. I've always loved the prices, now Discount Filters has my business based on service.

Big help

This company honors their word. The filters i ordered did not fit. The description of 4 inches wide was actual 4 3/8 and would not fit my furnace. (Some manufacturers do not describe their products correctly, not discountfilters fault). Discount cheerfully refunded my purchase price and told me which manufacturer to order the exact fit. And their prices are better than the big box stores.

Furnace Filters

I'm very disappointed that you do not include the foam strips to cover a gap in my filter box on the furnace. I had to make a special trip to a hardware store to purchase them. In the future, I will search for a supplier that supplies them with the filters as in the past.
