RWC-5 10" String Wound Sediment / Carbon Filter - 5 Micron

The Culligan RWC-5 is a dual purpose filter cartridge designed to fit standard 10" filter housings.  It can replace filters for and be used with housings from Culligan, American Plumber, Filterite, Parker Hannifin, US Filter, CUNO, Fulflo, Keystone, US Water, Water Resources, and Pentek.  This filter is used primarily in point-of-use systems and is constructed of wound polypropelene string and granular activated carbon (GAC).

  • Reduces sediment as well as cholorine taste and ordor
  • 5 micron nominal filtration
  • 10" X 2-1/2" Size fits most 10" slim housings
  • Change filter every 350 gallons or 4 months per filter

    This is an effective filter, but ensure that it meets the capacity you're after. It is not suited for a whole-house primary water source filter...at least in our area it reguires more frequent changing that is desirable (every three months at least). [...] This filter seems best suited to a "regional" filter...perhaps for kitchen water use or similar.
