Culligan D-28 Chloramine Reducing Drinking Water Filter

The Culligan D-28 filter is the Granular Activated Carbon 10" filter for some Culligan undersink drinking water systems that can reduce the bad taste and odor of chlorine and chloramine from your drinking water   The D-28 can be used in place of filter #s D-10, D-15, D-20 if chloramine reduction is desired.   This filter uses Granular Activated Carbon media. Used as post-filter in some reverse osmosis systems.

  • This filter is 2-3/8" at its widest measurement ( diameter ) and 2-1/8" at its narrowest ( diamteter )
  • Overall height of this filter is 9-3/4"
  • Fits in most 10" slim housings

  • Culligan D-28 water filter life up to 1000 gallons or 12 months per filter
  • Typically used on "city" water containing chloramine.   Contact your local water utility to determine if chloramine is in your water supply. The use of chloramines in water supplies is growing nationally. Chloramines are a combination of chlorine and ammonia used in city water supplies.
