Replacement Ice Maker for Whirlpool / Maytag Refrigerator/Freezers (RIM500)
The refrigerator icemaker provides clean ice for your fam's daily needs. Use the Supco RIM500 model to replace a broken icemaker in Whirlpool and Maytag refrigerators. Additionally, the replacement icemaker works in most models with a 106 prefix. The replacement icemaker does not work in refrigerators with an ice auger assembly on the door and an electronic ice level sensor. The kit includes mounting hardware, a wiring harness and instruction. Using the existing wiring and plumbing, the installed icemaker produces clean ice for any need.

I was disappointed that the product arrived damaged. Luckily I had the old product and used the plastic end cap off the original which was sturdier than the one shipped. The replacement did not resolve my problem of no ice cubes being produced.
