I bought this filter because it was priced well; however, I will pay the extra money for name brand next time. The water may be "cleaner" because it is filtered, but it tastes like it came straight from the tap. We had a Samsung filter before this one, and the water tasted amazing!

This is the second batch of 3 SwiftGreen SGF-DSA21 filters we have ordered for our Samsung refrigerator. The first pack worked great; however, in this pack, 2 of the 3 leaked upon installation. We are not sure whether to try the third or what... the link for customer service does not appear to be working, so...? We reinstalled the old/used filter (last of our original SwiftGreen order)for the time being. Thanks.

This filter was a great replacement for the original Samsung, since we couldn't find it. The filter leaked at first, but when we removed it and installed it again, all was good. Water tastes great again. We have well water and it really makes a difference.

When a new refrigerator filter is installed, there may be some sputtering and spitting of water while air is forced out of the filter media. This is normal and will stop after the carbon media becomes saturated with water.
