Hammock filters in HVAC systems use replacement filter media to remove impurities from indoor air. It removes large airborne particles of dirt, dust, pollen and odor. A viscosine adhesive coating on the fiberglass material improves the filter's ability to capture and trap impurities. Airflow remains unrestricted. Lennox fiberglass media measures 24 inches wide. With one-inch thickness, its 20-foot length can be cut to fit Amerglas and other hammock filters. Replace the material once every two months for maximum air cleanliness.

This is a great filter for the Lenox heater, but it is not easy to install. Lenox made it that way, but it does the job well.

The space in my condo requires a unique size of air handler.The Hammock Filter Material is just the correct weight and thickness for my custom filter frame. It allows good air flow and so economical to cut to size; I like the fact that I can afford to change my air filter often!
