The kit includes everything you need to upgrade your filter from MERV 10 to MERV 13 efficiency rating - a 65% improvement. This kit would replace filter part number 201, or any other filter you are using in your model 2200 air cleaner. Also replaces filter # 102 used in Model 2120 Air Cleaner.
ALSO say goodbye to messy filter assembly, and pleat spacers. The new MERV 13 media simply slides into your existing air cleaner. This kit provides a permanent upgrade to more efficient filter that you can change yourself!
The kit includes:

. Metal frame base and supports - these simply snap together - no tools required
. Door spacer - easily inserts into back of door insuring tight seal and eliminating air bypass (for 2200 units with "old style" door - the spacer is not needed).

The Filter Upgrade Kit for our Aprilaire 2200 Air Cleaner was easy to install. It only took me a few minutes. It has only been 2 weeks, but we can already tell that this filter is doing a better job of eliminating the dust than the stock 201 filter. Before, she could dust and we could see dust within a couple of days. If it continues to filter this well after it has been in use for a few months, I'll not go back to the 201!

This product came in the mail immediately and was easy to install. It is a great improvement over the old filter arrangement which tended to come apart once the plastic housing and spacers became old and brittle. I have no doubt that this will improve air flow and be a breeze to replace when necessary.
