this filter, while the model and all descriptions indicated it should be just like the one that came with my furnace, the number of ribs was about half from the one that came with my furnace. therefore, it is not as efficient as it should be.

I purchased a new Lennox heat pump system last year. The dealer mentioned that I would need to buy the same type air filter replacement to use in this system. They wanted a little over $50.00 for one. I decided to look on line for the same filter, and found Discount filters.com. I was pleased to see that I could get two of the exact same filters for a little over $60.00. I ordered them, they were here if just a few days. Very happy with the delivery time. When a new refrigerator filter is installed, there may be some sputtering and spitting of water while air is forced out of the filter media. This is normal and will stop after the carbon media becomes saturated with water.
