Replacement media filter for Honeywell cabinets - 16x25 (actual size 15-7/8" X 24-7/8" X 4-3/8") - MERV 11
Honeywell air cleaners remove impurities from indoor air. Rated MERV 11, the replacement filter successfully traps and removes dirt, dust, pollen, mold, dander and odors. It uses electrostatically charged media to attract airborne particles. The particles remain trapped in the filter's deep pleats. A moisture-resistant frame and materials prevent mildew and mold growth. Rigid finger supports and a metal grid keep the filter firmly in place. Replace the filter every six months for clean indoor air.

We are using this filter to replace an old type that is no longer working, which was an electrically-charged electrostatic filter. It was a large metal unit that could be taken out and washed. It would have been very expensive to order a new one, and we were told by several HVAC professionals that they often times break down after a while. They recommended a media filter. I found some locally that were a bit too small for the slots, so I ordered this online, and it's perfect. I like that this brand also has a self-charged electrostatic element, since I'm told it helps to trap even more dust and particles.

Very easy to replace filter... Fast delivery.. Good construction. Looks like my old name brand filter. Happy with my purchase. We have a somewhat unusual size filter: unable to buy locally and difficult to get from our installer... but dealing with Discount Filters.com could NOT be easier, quicker or more convenient. And, initially I thought the offer to remind us of filter replacement time would be annoying, but it's just very handy for something that is so easy to "forget"... Having previously had a furnace with easy to buy filters (at the local hardware store) was actually SO easy, that it was easily forgotten and filters looked like they were wearing a sweater by the time we got around to replacing them.... THANK YOU.
