The FS1625 Goodman/Five Seasons Air Cleaner Filter M1-1056 is a replacement filter designed to fit original Goodman air cleaner units as well as other manufacturers like Electro-Air, Amana, Carrier, Coleman, Totaline and York. This filter is a factory original product or OEM filter. It features deep pleats designed to trap a multitude of the smallest airborne particulates. These include but are not limited to dust, pollen, mold spores, animal dander and even auto emissions. Because of its quality, pleated design, this filter has been given a MERV 11 rating.
The minimum efficiency reporting value or MERV rating of 11 is one of the highest ratings for home filtration products. A MERV 11 refers to the filter's ability to trap at least 85 percent of particulates that measure between three and ten microns as well as up to 79 percent of particles measuring one to three microns. This type of filtration can be beneficial for homes with allergy or asthma sufferers.
