This is achieved by combining 100% synthetic electrostatically charged media, optimum pleat spacing and high quality construction. These deep-pleated filters have exceptionally high initial and sustained efficiency, high dust holding capacity, and very low pressure drop. The media is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, does not absorb moisture and will not support microbial growth.

Wanted to replace dirty 6 mos. old Honeywell FC100A1003 11-merv with something that would have less pressure drop acrossed the filter (less work for blower, less money to run). Purchased the replacement filter for honeywell 8-merv from this site,as this doesn't filter as well it should have less pressure drop. Wrong!, pressure drop clean almost as high as 6 mos. old dirty 11-MERV Honeywell. You get what you pay for.
