I have purchased these filters for a number of years and have never had a problem. They are always in good condition, ready to install, with no rips and keep the dust out. This older system makes installation a little harder, but I have the hang of it now. I would recommend them if you haven't updated. I hope they keep on making them.

For the price, these are great! You have to fan out the pleated filter and install it in the grid of combs yourself, which takes an extra 5 minutes. For the cost savings, that 5 minutes is definitely worth it.

When a new refrigerator filter is installed, there may be some sputtering and spitting of water while air is forced out of the filter media. This is normal and will stop after the carbon media becomes saturated with water.
