Our 14 x 18 x 1" furnace filters need to be replaced once every three months. The environment in which your filter is housed will say a lot about its longevity. If you have a lot of pets, you need to keep their fur from going through your ventilation system so that it's both clean and fresh.

We have three different Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) ratings in this filter size: MERV 8, MERV 11 and MERV 13. The MERV 8 rated filter will reduce particles like lint and dust, dust mite debris, pollen and mold spores. Its electrostatically charged filter media captures airborne allergens smaller than 1 micron.

Our MERV 11 filter will also guard against auto emissions, smoke and pet dander, while the MERV 13 filter will filter out all of these items as well as bacteria and tobacco smoke. Each of the three filter options comes in a six-pack.
