I have had my filter system for 8 years and this is the only product that removes the black soot from the cells. Soaking or the dishwasher never quite did the job. Spray on this product and soak cells. It lifts the dirt easily. You will need to wipe off dirt before it dries. Good product that should be recommended by Honeywell instead of dishwasher liquid.

Great product for routine cleaning of electronic air cleaner cells. I bought it to remove a greasy black powdery goo that has accumulated on the Honeywell cleaner that services my make-up air intake (which I think is suspended road and tire particulate matter). It didn't do it, but nothing else has either and I've tried hot water, dishwasher, oven cleaner, grill cleaner and high pressure wash. A bit pricey but I recommend it.

DAX is a great product. Easy to use and works fast. Our installer recommended dish soap, but DAX is not sudsy and rinses off easily.

I used it to clean my A/C air cleaners and all I did was spray the cells and soaked them in hot water in the bath tub for 1/2 hour and set them out to dry for about 6 hours. This job has never been easy but with Dax it's a breeze. The price was the cheapest I've found and the shipping was quick.

Spray it on, let it sit and then rinse it off. It's easy to use and works well. It's hard to get between the fins in the electronic filter (nothing fits well and they are sharp) and get them clean. The spray does a good job of contacting all surfaces for cleaning.

I have been cleaning my electronic filter for ten years. Using scalding hot water, brushes, and various cleaners, but this one is the best I've ever tried. I cleaned the usual way, but then sprayed on Dax, and was amazed how much grim still was in the filter. The water ran dark when I sprayed it off.

Dax is a good product. It does the job. I sprayed it onto the filters and rinsed them 2-3 times and then let the filters dry for 24 hours or so. If you follow the directions on the bottle you can't go wrong.
When the spray bottle starts to get low the sprayer has to be held at a specific angle to get the spray out properly. Otherwise, the product is great and does the job.
